SNOW DAY!

Today is our first snow day, which means NO school because of the weather! Two of my kids were jumping for joy this morning  that they didn't have to go to school today and the third one was just as excited even though it doesn't affect her! ;) So, what have we been doing all day? Not much..which is nice. The kids have been watching movies, playing together (without too much bickering), and the girls and I made........

PUPPY CHOW! YUMMMMY!

It goes by a few other names too...Monkey Munch, Snowballs..ect. If you have never experienced it's goodness, you need to get to it!! It's so basic, waffle corn type cereal, peanut butter, chocolate chips, vanilla, butter, and powered sugar...Your getting hungry just thinking about it aren't you???? ;)

Cameron my one of my little helpers...she looks a little tuckered out doesn't she?And you can see she already got into the chocolate chips! Sneaky Cam!;0

Peyton LOVES to bake and help out in anyway, whether you want her to or not. ;)

It's an easy recipe, but it gets a bit messy
VIOLA! It's complete all in it's yummy goodness!

Here's the recipe if we have tempted you to try it!

1. Combine peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
2. Microwave for one minute then stir to blend all ingredients thoroughly. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Stir well.
3. Place the 9 cups of Crispix cereal in a very large bowl.
4. Pour the peanut butter-chocolate mixture over the cereal and toss evenly, making sure all the cereal gets a good covering.
5. Coat with powdered sugar, sprinkling evenly over the cereal and tossing as you sprinkle to cover each piece well.
